Module 1: Activity Clusters 1–5 — Self, Goals, Empathy, Workplace, Problem Solving
The first half of the semester and 42 of the 100 marks. Group formation and the Gantt chart, role-storming and the mind map, empathy, networking with three real professionals, and a six thinking hats problem-solving cycle. This is our grouping, not a KTU module — the activity numbers are the official ones.
Module 2: Activity Clusters 6–11 — Profile, Emotional Intelligence, Diversity, Language
28 marks. LinkedIn profile, résumé and self-introduction video; emotional intelligence and diversity presentations; online interview and listening tests; and the English vocabulary, error-spotting and self-reflection activities. Our grouping, not a KTU module.
Module 3: Activity Cluster 12, the Lab Hour, and the Portfolio
30 marks. The podcast on a Kerala technological intervention (6), and the 24-mark lab hour of hands-on engineering skills — drilling, cutting, grinding, welding, pipe bending and tap fitting. Plus the portfolio and journal, which are mandatory to pass and are opened again in Semester 7.
